Race, Justice and the Church

The Church's Role

2 Corinthians 5:18 "All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation."

The killings of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery have revealed that not everyone is safe in America. We are called to speak out and speak up. We are called out of racism and every form of hatred and division. At Risen King Church, we are called to more than just speaking out, as important as decrying injustice is. We are called to provide an alternative. A place where the world can see the multi-color vision of the wisdom of God. This is the vision of Risen King Church.

We are hosting a series of conversations around the topics of Race and the Church. The first 3 are post below with more to come. We have also launched a Small Group led by Dr. Nate Perez titled "Racial Reconciliation".
