What is RKkids?
RKkids is the Children's Ministry at Risen King Church. We have a safe and age appropriate environment for your child. Every weekend, RKkids runs at the same time as our main worship services. Join us on Saturdays at 5:30p or on Sundays at either 8:30AM, 10:00A or 11:45AM.
The children at RKkids learn Bible stories and who Jesus is in an exciting, creative, and relevant way. We use a curriculum called ORANGE. Orange is the combination of the two primary influences in a child's life, (RED) the love of the family and (YELLOW) the light of the church to incite wonder, provoke
discovery, and fuel passion for Jesus.
What To Expect On Your First Visit
Parents may check-in their child(ren) at our self check-in station in the main lobby. This is where you will provide us with information about your child (i.e. name, age, grade, etc.). After check-in, parents and kids can follow the signs to our Children’s Ministry area downstairs and a team member will greet you with your child’s name tag. You will then meet our Children’s Director who will provide you with all the information about our Children’s Ministry.

Kindergarten - 5th Grade
Elementary Students worship together and learn Bible stories in a large group setting. They then go into their small groups (which is divided up by grades) to do activities that reinforce the lesson taught.
