Start the process here!
Thank you for your interest in the worship team at Risen King Church! We are so excited about what God has done through our worship team and where he is leading us. We look forward to seeing your audition.
All RK Worship auditions are accepted via video submission. We cannot wait to see the talents and gifts God has given you.
After receiving your submission, we will review your video, and you will hear from us via email. We love having musicians with a wide range of talent, so if you play more than one instrument, audition for them all! Please just make sure you only include one instrument per video.
Play with a backing track but make sure that your instrument is the loudest sound heard. If we cannot hear exactly what you are playing it will affect how we move forward.
Drums, Bass, and Guitar Submissions:
Good Good Father by HouseFires or Lion and the Lamb by Bethel Music
Cornerstone by Hillsong Worship, Do It Again by Elevation Worship, or Reckless Love by Bethel Music/Cory Asbury
Sing a cappella OR with music but make sure your voice is the loudest sound heard.
Male Vocalist Submissions:
Lion and the Lamb by Bethel Music, Great Are You Lord by All Sons and Daughters, or Reckless Love by Bethel Music/CoryAsbury
Female Vocalist Submissions:
Who You Say I Am by Hillsong Worship, Forever by Bethel Music/Kari Jobe or King of My Heart by Bethel Music
OPTIONAL, but NOT required: In addition to the above requirement, you can submit a video of you singing ANY song you want (pop, rock, r&b, oldies...anything.) for consideration.
Upload your video to YouTube. Under privacy settings, mark the video as "Unlisted" and title the video "(Your name) RK Worship Audition."
Submit your audition through the form below, as well as any additional performance videos you might want us to consider.
We will follow up with you via email. If you move forward in the process, we will schedule you for a 'Jam Night' at church where a few new members and a few current members of RK Worship play and sing through a few songs together and then meet for a 20 minute Q&A on all things worship.
